Achieving the impossible...

It’s faster work to walk on water when all of the conditions are right. Possible when the seas are rough, although the effort may be taxing and the results take longer. Aligning ourselves with our inner knowing and tracking our intentions allows us to achieve what we often originally think is impossible.

Luscher Garden...

Painted at Luscher Garden this late fall with friends and thought I’d post the experiment. The sketchbook page was prepared ahead of time with absorbent ground tinted yellow. I liked the surface response although it truly is absorbant and some of the paint and pen soaked in and disappeared. Several washes were required to acheive any color strength. With apologies to facebook friends for the re-run.

Samurai at the PAM...

These fellows are pretty scary stuffed and mounted.  Imagine how frightening they’d be riding down on someone!

So thankful for membership in a museum where artists are encouraged to participate with the exhibits by sketching. A bit difficult trying to apply color in the (seeming) near dark.
