This drawing was the first I’d tried with colored pencil somewhere around twenty years ago. I retired colored pencil as a medium until recently. About 12 x 16 or so inches.

Roxanne Colyer is a creative who divides her residence and studio work between her Alaska birth home and adopted abode near Portland, Oregon. Roxanne writes, makes art and has professional certifications in bio-field energy applications.

After posing a question, I’m astounded to be making and enjoying collage pieces. There are artist’s who have raised collage to a stunning art form. I’ve been working these little pieces as a warmup to larger studio works and I’m happy these answers show up.
